Young girls help raise money for medical scanner in memory of nan

Enterprising friends banded together to raise more than £1,500 to buy a medical scanner in memory of a beloved nan.

And the latest fundraising effort by Olivia Mugford, aged eight, and Mia Jarrett, nine, saw more than £650 raised at Wolverton Village Hall towards the money for the British Lung Foundation’s scanner appeal.

Olivia’s nan Doris Ware, known affectionately as Nanny Doll, died aged 82, in March after suffering a debilitating lung disease for 10 years.
