The proposals, for the site of open and undeveloped agricultural land which lies immediately to the west of the Fosse Way and less than 1km to the southeast of Radford Semele and about 2km east of Leamington, are being put forward by Novergy and Recurrent Energy.
The developers held a public consultation event at the Radford Semele Community Hall yesterday (Tuesday May 14).

Comments of the proposals can be submitted via the website or by email at [email protected] and must be made by Tuesday May 28 after which date the final planning submission will be made.
As part of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s drive to protect food security, councils are being urged by the Government not to approve planning permission for solar farms on any high-quality farmland.
David Bean, parliament and government relations manager for the Countryside Alliance said: “We long campaigned for energy infrastructure to be sited sensitively, and for food production to remain the primary use of productive agricultural land.
